OnePlus 9 "Lemonade" is reportedly under development

20 October 2020 0

It is pretty obvious that smartphone manufacturers start working on their upcoming launches early because it is a long process and includes many phases from developing to approving. And, no matter how tightly manufacturers hold their secrets during this journey, some details just slip out. Sometimes they come out too early, sometimes they are just available in plain sight, and sometimes they require some external pull to come out of their place.

One such leak has come out early to become the foundation of all other leaks coming after this. Max J., one of the top tipsters has tipped that the OnePlus 9 is under development and its code-name is “Lemonade.” The tipster has also shared an image that reveals nothing, though. The image shows the outline of a smartphone on which the “Lemonade” codename is written.

A report on OnePlus having a phone with codename “Lemonade” under development appeared last month as well but the marketing name of the phone wasn’t available by then. Now, Max J. clearly claims it to be the OnePlus 9. No other details are available yet but we can expect a few things referring to the company’s plans for its upcoming phones.

Expect the OnePlus 9 to feature a high refresh rate display and continue the trend that the company started with the OnePlus 8 Pro. This is something confirmed by OnePlus' former co-founder Carl Pei as well during the OnePlus 7T launch in India. He said, “from now on, all future OnePlus smartphones will come with the Fluid Display technology.”

Also, it is imperative to see Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon processor, which could be the Snapdragon 875 onboard for powerful performance.

We may learn more about OnePlus 9 as we move closer to its launch. So, come back to know how much sweetness OnePlus is adding to its "Lemonade."
