As speculated heavily for months, OnePlus has expanded its Nord lineup of budget smartphones with two new entrants. These are called Nord N10 5G and Nord N100. The former is a device that is more or less closer to the original OnePlus Nord 5G but the second one, it is a proper budget smartphone with entry-level specifications and features.
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G sports a 6.49-inch Full HD+ display with a punch-hole and 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor with 5G connectivity and 6GB of RAM. There is a single 128GB storage option for buyers but OnePlus has also offered microSD cards support up to 512GB.
The back panel has quad rear cameras aligned in an "L" shape. It includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. There is a 16-megapixel sensor on the front which is present inside the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 4,300mAh battery with 30T Warp Charge fast charging. It will be running OxygenOS 10.5 based on Android 10 out of the box. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and dual-SIM support in Europe and the United Kingdom. For US-based buyers, there will be single-SIM support. The fingerprint scanner can be found on the back panel.
The phone has been released in the Midnight Ice color variant. It will be up for purchase for £329 and €329 in the United Kingdom and Europe. For fans from North America, they will have to wait for the time being.
The OnePlus Nord N100 5G is essentially an entry-level smartphone. It features a 6.52-inch HD+ display panel with the standard 60Hz refresh rate. The choice of the processor on this device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460. It has been released in a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The storage space can be expanded via microSD cards.
The phone has triple rear cameras: 13-megapixel main sensor, 2-megapixel bokeh sensor, and 2-megapixel macro sensor. It has a 13-megapixel front camera housed within the punch-hole. There is a 5,000mAh battery to keep the lights on which can be charged pretty quickly with an 18W fast charger. It will also run OxygenOS 10.5 based on Android 10 out of the box.
The budget phone is priced at £179 and €179 in the United Kingdom and Europe respectively. The pricing for North America will be announced later. It is available in a single Midnight Frost color variant.
