Ever since Microsoft unveiled the Xbox Series X design, there have been memes about it looking like a fridge. The overall shape and size of the console along with the Blu-ray disc player reminded many of the fridges. Now, Microsoft has gone ahead and showcased an actual Xbox Series X Fridge that it will be giving away to one lucky winner.
As one would expect, the fridge is an exact replica of the Xbox Series X except for the bigger size. It is about 6-feet tall that makes it worthy of being a refrigerator. The Xbox logo is on the top left corner that lights up and looks cool. The fridge also makes the Xbox boot sound when it is opened as well as shows Green-colored light instead of the traditional White.
The fridge weighs around 400 pounds and is said to cost $499 if Microsoft were to sell it. This is the same price as the Xbox Series X gaming console. There are a limited number of units of the fridge which makes it unique. All of the units except one have been sent to celebrities and influencers including rapper Snoop Dogg for promotional purposes.
The one particular unit is what Microsoft is giving away. There is a tweet about the Xbox Series X Fridge on the official Xbox Twitter account that you need to retweet with the hashtag "XSXFridgeSweeps". The giveaway will be live until November 4th after which the team will pick a winner randomly.
