Micromax has promised to make a comeback in India with its new “In” series of phones on November 3. The company hasn’t uttered the names of the new phones but it is throwing enough teasers that reveal some key specs. A couple of days back, the company shared a teaser that shows a gradient back panel. And now, the company’s co-founder Rahul Sharma has shared the first look of the In-series phone.
Rahul took to an Indian YouTuber channel to give you the first look at Micromax "In" phone. The unnamed and of course, the unannounced phone has a white back panel, and Rahul asserted that there is no fancy name for the color of the phone; “it’s just white.” Also, the phone has four cameras on the back, all housed in a rectangular-shaped module. The fingerprint scanner is also on the back.
Rahul was also asked to reveal the full look of the phone the company teased two days back. He didn’t share the phone in full but this time, he did show the section of the phone that was previously hidden. It turns out, the phone is the variant of the phone in question in white color. It just has a gradient back finish, making an X-pattern.
Furthermore, in a brief chit chat with Tehchincal Guruji, Rahul also revealed a couple of key specifications as well, including the 12MPx4 cameras. Upon asking if the previous teaser on processor name was decoded right? Rahul answered or rather confirmed that whatever we are thinking is right and the phones will indeed make use of MediaTek’s Helio G85 and G35 processors. Rahul was also asked about other phones in the series, to which he replied that the launch is just around the corner and we should wait for it.
Rahul didn’t show the front panel of the phone but towards the end of the video or outro, the YouTuber can be seen turning the phone to the front as well. Takin a quick glance, we can tell the phone in question has a teardrop-style notch on the display.
What’s your take on this? Are you excited that Micromax is making a comeback?
