ZTE has announced a new 5G smartphone in the market that does not cost a lot. It is called the Blade 20 5G which is the brand's second 5G phone release in just two weeks. The only difference is that the newest release is more feature-packed and hence also costs slightly more but not significantly.
The ZTE Blade 20 5G sports a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with a dew-drop notch and 20:9 aspect ratio. The choice of processor is MediaTek's Dimensity 720 which comes with 5G connectivity. There is a single configuration of 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It does come with the microSD card storage support for storage expansion.
The phone has triple rear cameras featuring a 16-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery but there is no fast charging support.
Even though Android 11 is out, ZTE has launched the Blade 20 5G with the Android 10 operating system. It is kind of expected as the phone is a budget offering with a price tag of CNY 1,499 i.e. about $224. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
