A new leak has appeared that corroborates the previous leak on the new Redmi Note 9 phones. The same tipster Digital Chat Station now brings more details on these new upcoming members.
According to the tipster, there are two phones launching in the Redmi Note 9 series and both have 5G connectivity. One is Redmi Note 9 5G Standard Edition and another is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 5G High Edition.
The Standard Edition is going to come in small size and modest specifications. Going by what the tipster has tipped off, the phone will have a 6.53-inch LCD display with 1080p resolution. There is going to be a punch hole in the upper left corner for a 13MP camera. On the back, the phone is said to be carrying a 48MP triple camera setup. It may also pack a 5,000mAh battery with 22.5 fast charging and the device will weigh 200 grams.
On the other hand, the mightier Redmi Note 9 5G is likely to feature a 6.67-inch LCD display and 1080p resolution. It may also have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The tipster reiterates that this phone could feature the 108MP Samsung’s HM2 sensor. This alleged Pro variant is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor and has a 4,820mAH battery with 33W fast-charging. The phone is said to be slightly taller and heavier with 214 gms.
So, almost every specification of these alleged phones is out, what remains to be seen is its availability and pricing if such phones really exist. The new phones are expected to launch this month.
