We have been hearing rumors of Samsung bringing S Pen stylus support to the Galaxy S-series for quite some time. It seems like we are closer than ever to those rumors becoming a reality. As per a reliable tipster Ice Universe (@Universe Ice), Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S21 Ultra with S Pen support.
His tweet mentions that the Galaxy S21 Ultra is "100% confirm" to come with support for the S Pen stylus. This could eventually mean the demise of the Galaxy Note series but that is unlikely to happen so soon. It is because there are still a few significant differences between the two devices. The biggest one is that Galaxy S21 Ultra will not have an S Pen slot like the Galaxy Note devices.
Another tipster Ishan Agarwal has tweeted that he is assuming Samsung will offer S Pen as an optional accessory for Galaxy S21 Ultra. It means it will not come bundled with the package and will be up to the individual buyer whether to go for it. We can expect more details to surface in the coming weeks as the official launch is barely a couple of months away.
This doesn't confirm there would be an S-Pen inside the Galaxy S21 Ultra. I think you will be able to buy it as an extra accessory? I'm also assuming they will launch cases which can hold the S-Pen. Honestly, I find that good. It's an option for people who want that. https://t.co/7S2x0x5yiM— Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) November 12, 2020
In other rumors, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to arrive with a Quad HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a 108-megapixel primary rear shooter packed with camera performance improvements. The front camera is claimed to be a 40-megapixel sensor. The battery capacity will be 5,000mAh and it will run Android 11 out of the box.
