Xiaomi took wraps off the Mi 10 series of flagship smartphones earlier this year. As 2020 is getting closer to its end, the time for the next flagship from the Chinese tech giant is also near. The two new phones will likely be called Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. A tipster from China has now shared some interesting details about the Pro variant.
The Mi 11 Pro is tipped to arrive with a Quad HD+ display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. If true, this will be a huge upgrade over the Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate available with the Mi 10 Pro. This will put it at the same level as the high-end flagship variants from other brands like Samsung and OnePlus.
Xiaomi is tipped to continue using the punch-hole design for the phone. It will have the punch-hole in the top left corner as we saw with the current-gen devices. It will be a curved display panel which is something that we have seen various Android OEMs offer with their expensive flagship models.
The tipster is not expecting major changes in the camera department. It seems like there will only be minor improvements to the overall camera performance. Other details are unknown but there is a high probability that Xiaomi's Mi 11 series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor. It would not be surprising if it is announced as the world's smartphone lineup to get official with the upcoming flagship chipset.
