Speculations on Redmi adding new phones to its existing Redmi Note 9 series have come out true as the company has now officially teased them on Weibo. Redmi has shared a poster that not only confirms the arrival of the new Redmi Note 9 but also reveals how the new phone looks.

First things first, the new Redmi Note 9 phone will launch on November 26. Redmi may live stream the event as well.

The new Redmi Note 9 phone in the poster is shown in two colors, one is purple and the other is aqua. Going by what is available, the phone has four cameras on the back, arranged in 2x2 matrix form and housed inside a circular module. It also confirms the phone is powered by 5G. The front panel of the phone is not available. The phone appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Past rumors had suggested a 6.53-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display, MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging support. It is said to be coming with a 48MP primary sensor.

It is speculated that Redmi will launch a Pro version of the upcoming Note 9 as well. Previous reports had suggested the new Redmi Note 9 Pro is going to have 108MP primary sensor. Furthermore, a recent Geekbench listing reveals the phone is driven by Snapdragon 750G processor and has 8GB RAM. It is rumored to be coming with a 6.67-inch 120Hz IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution. It is said to be getting its fuel from a 4,820mAh battery.

We are almost a week away from the said launch. Pricing and availability details will be out on the stage only. So, just wait a bit more.
