No iOS 15 for iPhone 6s and original iPhone SE | Report

Apple is one of the best when it comes to providing software support to its devices, especially in the smartphone market. iPhones are known for getting the latest iOS upgrades for about five years at ease. But since Apple cannot support models for a lifetime, it keeps phasing out really old models with each new release. The new major version will likely be called iOS 15 and we have our first report about devices that will miss out.

As per The Verifier publication, iOS 15 will be available for all models starting with the iPhone 7 lineup. It means the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus along with the original iPhone SE will not receive the iOS 15 upgrade. This is likely to be because of the hardware limitations that would not be able to offer faster performance and smoother user experience with the upcoming version.

As for the 2021 iPhone models, these will run the newest iOS version straight out of the box. This is what has been the trend all these years.
