Amazon Music X-Ray will now show trivia, credit details for songs

23 November 2020 0

X-Ray is a unique Amazon feature that differentiates Prime Video from all other streaming services. It shows a list of all the actors in a particular scene as well as offers interesting trivia about the show and the people involved. The feature is also available on Amazon Music but until now, it was limited to showing real-time lyrics for songs.

Amazon has now expanded Amazon Music X-Ray functionality to include trivia and credit details of the currently playing song. It is available for tens of millions of songs across various genres, albums, and artists. While the feature has been rolled out globally, users from the United States and the United Kingdom will also get to see fun facts about the songs.

To be able to use the feature, a user simply needs to play his favorite song on the Amazon Music app. The currently playing song interface will show the "X-Ray" label at the bottom that needs to be swiped up. This will show you all the available facts about the songs, in the U.S. and U.K, and the Credits option. The latter will show you the names of all the people that are involved in the creation of the song.

The newly improved X-Ray feature is available for the Prime Video application for both Android and iOS. If you are not seeing these new functionalities already, make sure that you are running the updated version of the app.
