TCL 20 5G first look and key specifications surfaced

27 November 2020 0

TCL seems to be readying one more smartphone under its own branding as apparent from leaked images and specifications. The prolific leakster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has shared the first look of the TCL 20 5G and other important details.

From the name, the newly-leaked phone looks to be the successor of the TCL 10 5G but as pointed out by Blass, the model number (T781) and the specs paint it as much more of a low-mid-ranger.

Looking at the render, it can be deduced the phone carries a triple camera setup on the rear panel. All three cameras are packed inside a vertical strip-like module. The LED flash is also housed inside this module. A thin shiny strip runs on the left of the rear panel and passes through the camera setup as well. On the front, the alleged TCL 20 Pro has a hole-punch. Overall, the display has minimal bezels and a thin bezel line can be seen at the bottom.

Blass has shared a labeled diagram as well that shows how ports and other things are arranged. The TCL 20 5G has a dedicated Google Assistant button on the left side, below the SIM card/microSD card slot housing. The volume rocker is on the right side and below it is the power button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor as well. On the top side, there is a USB Type-C port. Blass has said, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.

Coming to the details, the TCL 20 5G features a 6.67-inch display with 1080x2400 pixels resolution. The back camera configuration includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The TCL 20 5G is powered by Snapdragon 690 processor and coupled with 6GB RAM. Users will be able to choose from 128GB/256GB storage options. The battery capacity is 4,500mAh.

Blass has mentioned the TCL 20 5G could debut early next year.
