03 December 2020 0

Infinix has officially unveiled a new mid-range smartphone Zero 8i. The phone is packed with some good specifications and features on the paper with a special focus on long-lasting battery life. It also has a total of six cameras including a quad-camera setup on the back panel.

The Infinix Zero 8i sports a 6.85-inch Full HD+ (2460 x 1080 pixels) IPS full-screen display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It boasts a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. There is a pill-shaped punch-hole in the top left corner that houses two front cameras: a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor.

Under the hood, the phone has the MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It should deliver a smooth and fast performance good enough for the asking price. The phone has a unique diamond-cut camera module that houses a total of four camera sensors: a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI sensor.

There is a 4,500mAh battery to keep the lights on and with 33W fast charging, it should not take much time for the phone to get charged completely. It will ship with XOS 7 based on Android 10 which is now an outdated version. The phone also has a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth v5.0, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 4G VoLTE support.

For the pricing, the Infinix Zero 8i will cost you INR 14,999 for the sole 8GB/128GB variant. It is a limited-time price but the actual pricing has not been revealed yet. The phone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.
