It has been a couple of months since Apple unveiled the latest iPhone 12 lineup. It was the first time Apple launched a total of four different iPhone models at the same event. These are iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Another important thing about the event that made headlines is that it was a late launch.
Apple is known for announcing new iPhones during the month of September but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, it had to push back everything that was in the pipeline. The mass production that usually starts in the summers was delayed until September. As a result, iPhone fans had to wait a little longer than usual for the new models. The good news is the early rumors suggest this will not be the case with the next-gen phones.
As per Ming-Chi Kuo, a renowned market research analyst, Apple is will be on track with the iPhone 13 development. It means Cupertino-based tech giant will start mass-producing the iPhone 13 lineup in early summer. This will lead to the official launch event happening at the usual time frame of September.
The next-gen iPhone 13 series will be powered by the A15 processor which will be an upgraded version of the current-gen A14 Bionic chipset. Other details about next year's iPhone models' features and specifications are unknown at the moment. We are likely to see more leaks come up during the early 2021 phase.
