It is time for another HMD Global smartphone but itis an affordable mid-range offering. The Nokia 5.4 is the phone we are talking about. One of the things that you will notice straight away is the phone's premium design. In other words, the phone does look a lot more premium than the price segment it is a part of.
The Nokia 5.4 sports a 6.39-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with punch-hole and 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor that should deliver a good performance. There are two configuration variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Both variants support microSD cards up to 512GB for those who would want more space.
The phone has quad rear cameras headlined by a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other three cameras include a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. The phone runs Android 10 out of the box with an assurance of software upgrades for two years and security patches for three years. Other features include a USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G VoLTE connectivity.
If interested, you will be able to own Nokia 5.4 for just EUR 189 which is about $230. HMD Global is yet to reveal when it will go on sale but it will arrive soon in India, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.
