UPDATE (December 24th, 2020):
If you had any doubts about Galaxy S21 Ultra launching with S Pen, this newly spotted FCC listing should put them to rest. The listing is for a Samsung device with model number SMG998B i.e. Galaxy S21 Ultra. It mentions that the device supports a stylus with "hover and click and an operating range of 0.53-0.6MHz". It does not reveal what new features are coming with the S Pen but we are not that far away from the launch event.

Samsung has seemingly confirmed the launch of its next Galaxy S-series. In a blog post, summarizing what the company has achieved in 2020 and what it plans to do for the next year, TM Roh, the President and Head of Samsung’s mobile division hinted at the launch of the Galaxy S21.
Note that he didn’t explicitly mention the name of the Galaxy S21 nor did he say what new capabilities the next Galaxy S-series is going to adopt. But there are enough takeaways from his long blog post.
We’ve also been paying attention to people’s favorite aspects of the Galaxy Note experience and are excited to add some of its most well-loved features to other devices in our lineup.
This alludes to the fact that all these “favorite aspects” are coming to Galaxy S21 because this is the series on the higher-end and what else from the company can carry on the legacy further? There have been rumors circulating that Samsung is bidding adieu to its Galaxy Note series in favor of its newest foldable lineup. This means while the new Galaxy foldables will inherit some goodness of the Galaxy Note series, some legacy will be passed on to the Galaxy S-series as well.
It appears Roh has hinted at the S Pen availability on the Galaxy S-series, something rumors have been saying for a long time as well.
At the end of the post, Roh said he will share more details in January, without actually pointing to the subject. We believe Roh might have pointed at the launch of the Galaxy S21. Last week, a report claimed the Galaxy S21 series could launch on January 14, 2021. It seems Roh has hinted at the same launch timeframe.
Moreover, the crux of this whole blog post is about bringing some advanced features to its next devices. These include “highly advanced” on-device AI capabilities, better video capabilities. In addition to these, Roh mentioned expanding technologies like 5G even further.
Meanwhile, the very famous leakster Evan Blass has shared the press shot of the Galaxy S21.
