OnePlus Nord SE is actually a special edition Nord rather than a new phone | Tip

A new phone from the OnePlus Nord-series is reportedly in the works. Going by a report that came in November, this is going to be the OnePlus Nord SE coming with some interesting set of specifications. Now, the renowned tipster Max Jambor has dished out an important detail that will totally change your perception towards the said phone.

According to the tipster, the alleged Nord SE is nothing more than a special edition of the existing Nord phone. Previously, the phone was considered as the new addition to the existing Nord-series but according to tipster’s claims, Nord SE is a special edition Nord rather than a new phone. A report from PhoneArena further backs and also adds that Nord SE is a special edition (SE) version of the original OnePlus Nord that is being created in partnership with designer Joshua Vides, who is best known for his creating custom concepts for brands like Fendi, Converse, and others.

The publication later corroborated about the new partnership with the tipster as well and came to know the new Nord SE phone will rather focus on aesthetic changes such as custom wallpapers. It may also get a newly designed rear panel.

The report from the publication further adds that significant hardware upgrades are unlikely. So, we may see it carrying specifications similar to the original model. That means expect to see a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 765G processor, and a quad-camera setup.

The report further adds the device will make an official appearance in March. It is believed the Nord SE may launch alongside the OnePlus 9 series.

The OnePlus Nord isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
