It has only been a couple of months since Vivo launched the V20 series and now, it has announced an improved version. The new model is called Vivo V20 (2021) and comes with a faster processor for exactly the same pricing. Interestingly, Vivo did not make any kind of official announcement for the phone and it was silently listed for purchase on Amazon India.
The Vivo V20 (2021) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. It is the only difference between the two phones as all other specifications and features are identical. The older version is still on sale and it comes with Snapdragon 720G chipset but since both cost INR 24,990, it makes more sense to go with the newest offering.
As for what else you will get, the Vivo V20 sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1800 pixels) IPS LCD notched display. The phone is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. There is a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
The front camera is a 44-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The phone runs Funtouch OS 11 based on Android 10 out of the box. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Hi-Res audio, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
