As we are just a few days away from the launch, Xiaomi's next-gen Android flagship Mi 11 has surfaced in a fresh round of leaks. These include official renders in all the color variants as well as real-life hands-on images. The leaks give us a good look at the phone's design which looks premium and different from the competition.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 is set to arrive in four colors: White, Blue, Purple, and Black. The phone appears to be a head-turner in each of these options. The display panel seems to have curved edges suggesting that we might be in for a curved display panel. However, it is unclear whether the company has opted for a punch-hole design or a notch of some kind. The display is further said to have Corning's Gorilla Glass Victus protection which is more durable than other variations. It first appeared with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra a few months back.
The back panel has triple cameras headlined by the 108-megapixel camera sensor. It is the rear camera module that looks unique and is definitely an attention grabber. The back panel further has Xiaomi branding in the bottom left corner but there is no fingerprint scanner. There is a possibility that the phone has an under-display fingerprint scanner but it could also be accessible from the power button.
There is another leak showing Mi 11 hands-on and some of the phone's specifications. It features a processor clocked at 2.4GHz which is set to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. It will be the world's first smartphone to debut with the flagship chipset. The photo shows 12GB of RAM which will likely be for the top-end model.
In terms of software experience, the particular unit can be seen running MIUI 12 based on Android 11 which is the latest Android version. This is pretty much what is known about the next-gen Android flagship by Xiaomi. The launch event is set for December 28th which is only a few days away.
