Realme 7 Pro

A new Realme smartphone has been spotted on the benchmarking site Geekbench. The model number is RMX3092 and there are some other details available in the listing as well. But the listing does not explicitly show the marketing name of the device. However, a couple of tipsters on Twitter have tipped off it to be the Realme 8 5G.

Going by the listing, the Realme phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 720 octa-core processor coupled with 8GB RAM. The listing also shows the phone is running Android 10 OS. No other details are available yet but expect to hear more about the same in the coming days.

One tipster who goes by the name Abhishek Agarwal on Twitter said that the same model number was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website as well, hinting the phone will launch in India as well. This leads us to so many reports on MediaTek’s and Realme’s plans on bringing Dimensity 5G SoC-powered phones to India as well.

Realme had teased the arrival of 5G phones in India in the past, these are X7 and X7 Pro phones. But these are not the only phones coming. Now seeing Realme 8 making the rounds on the internet, it appears the phone is in many that the company has planned for 2021.

Going by the tips, we consider the Realme 8 to be the successor of the Realme 7. The phone was launched with a MediaTek Helio G95 processor whereas the Pro model launched with Snapdragon 720G processor. Let’s see what specifications the Realme 8 is going to possess.
