04 January 2021 0

Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event will take place on January 14th. It is the annual launch event where it announces the latest flagship and a few other devices. The event will kick off at 10 AM EST and will be streamed live on YouTube for everyone to join.

The invite teaser shows a blurred image of the upcoming flagship's camera module. It has the tagline, "Welcome to the Everyday Epic" suggesting there will be different types of devices. The highlight of the show will undoubtedly be the Galaxy S21 series. It is rumored to have three smartphone models: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The next-gen flagship lineup from Samsung is said to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 processors. The exact choice of processor will vary from region to region. These will have flat display panels with high refresh rates as compared to the usage of curved panels in previous generation phones. There will be a multiple-camera setup headlined by the 108-megapixel cameras and even support for the S Pen stylus.

The rumor mill further claims that the launch event will see the arrival of a new Samsung truly wireless earphones. These are tipped to be called Galaxy Buds Pro. As the name suggests, these will be even more feature-rich and expensive than the current-gen Galaxy Buds Live. We might see Samsung make a few more announcements but no details related to that have surfaced so far.
