Samsung Galaxy M02s launched with triple cameras, 5000mAh battery

Samsung has officially revealed Galaxy M02s as the newest budget smartphone. The phone has been released in Nepal but will also be launched in India two days later. It comes loaded with a multiple-camera module, a bigger display, and a big battery among other things for the price point.

The Galaxy M02s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) TFT display with a waterdrop-styled notch. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It is available in a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. It will also support microSD cards for storage expansion.

The triple camera setup on the phone includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. The phone will ship with One UI based on Android 10.

The pricing of Galaxy M02s has been set at NPR 15,999 which is about $137. It will be sold in Blue, Red, and Black color options through offline and online stores.
