Motorola is set to be one of the busiest OEMs during the first half of the year in terms of product launches. The rumor mill is buzzing with leaks related to upcoming phones codenamed Ibiza, Capri, and Caprip. It is now time for two more devices that are tipped to get released as Moto G Power (2021) and Moto G Play (2021).
Starting with the Moto G Power (2021), the name makes it clear it will be a phone focused on battery life. The phone has model number XT2117 and is specifically meant for the United States. It is claimed to be a lite version of the Moto G9 Power that was released last year. The main highlight of the phone will be its battery capacity which is tipped to be 4,850mAh.
The phone is reported to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. There will be two configuration options: 3GB of RAM with 32GB onboard storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB onboard storage. It has a triple camera setup on the back panel featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera is an 8-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. It will be sold in Silver, Blue, and Gray color options.
The Moto G Play (2021) is an entry-level smartphone with codename Guam and model number XT2093. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The phone has 32GB of internal storage and should also have microSD card support.
The dual rear cameras include a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor expected to be a Macro shooter. There is a punch-hole display featuring a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery to keep the lights on which should hold up for a day with ease.
