Lava has announced a total of four new budget Android smartphones in India. All of these belong to the Z-series and are called Lava Z1, Lava Z2, Lava Z4, and Lava Z6. The main highlight of these phones is that they are claimed to be made in India smartphones, a sentiment also used by Micromax for its recently unveiled In-series phones.
While we have covered the technical specifications of these phones at the bottom, Lava also had one more phone called MyZ to talk about. It is being marketed as a "customizable phone" as it lets users choose certain specifications as per their preferences. The customization options include camera modules, RAM, storage, and color options. The fixed specs include a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display, MediaTek Helio G35 processor, Android 10, 5000mAh battery, and USB Type-C port.
The company has set up a dedicated web page for helping users choose their desired features and create their own MyZ. Here are all the options that users will have:
The online customization page will show the final cost before the order is placed. The cost for the high-end variant possible will be INR 10,699. Lava will start taking online orders from January 11th and will soon expand the feature to offline stores as well.
