Lenovo has announced its 2021 IdeaPad lineup of laptops featuring three models IdeaPad 5G, IdeaPad 5 Pro, and IdeaPad 5i Pro at CES 2021. These mainly differ in the processor choice as you will find chips from Qualcomm, AMD, and Intel respectively. It also took the opportunity to unveil Yoga AIO 7 desktop PC for professionals.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5G is an always-connected PC powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx 5G chipset. It features a Snapdragon X55 Modem-RF system that provides on-the-go 5G connectivity. It will be beneficial for users who need to work on the move and do not want to rely on finding WiFi networks to work.
Both the IdeaPad 5 Pro and IdeaPad 5i Pro laptops are available in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes. These are made up of metallic chassis that gives them a premium feel. The display panel on laptops features a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100% sRGB color gamut support, and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Lenovo has offered a 90Hz refresh rate with the 14-inch models and a 120Hz refresh rate with the 16-inch models.

The Lenovo Yoga AIO 7 is an all-in-one workstation desktop for professionals. The unique thing about the machine is its rotating display that can be used in both landscape and portrait modes. It sports a 27-inch 4K IPS display panel with support for 99% DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB color gamuts. It is claimed to be the world's first such display panel of its kind.
Under the hood, it has the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. It features microphones for a hands-free Amazon Alexa experience. It can be used for doing all sorts of things including controlling smart home products. There is a 5-megapixel webcam at the top for high-quality video calls.
Lenovo has priced the Yoga AIO 7 at $1,599 with availability currently limited to China. It is said to become available in select global markets excluding North America starting February 2021.
