Xiaomi entered the Indian laptop market with the launch of the Mi NoteBook 14 series last year. It unveiled two models including the standard variant and NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. There was another variant aimed at online learning that was unveiled a few months later. And now, we have a new model named Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) in the market.
The Mi NoteBook 14 (IC) is more or less the same but offers improvements wherever the predecessors lacked. The major highlight of the new notebook is that it comes with an integrated webcam. This is an important change as the original models did not come with an in-built webcam and uses had to buy an external webcam if they wanted to use one.
Other technical specifications and features are mostly the same as original offerings. The Mi NoteBook 14 sports a 14-inch Full HD "Horizon" Anti-glare display with 178-degree viewing angles and an 81.2% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it is packed with a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU for handling graphics-intensive processes.
There are 256GB and 512GB of SSD storage options for faster read and write speeds. Xiaomi is claiming a battery life of up to 10 hours along with fast charging support. It has a scissor keyboard that is claimed to offer a pitch per key of 19mm. Each of the letters on the keyboard is said to be screen printed instead of going for stickers. It further has stereo speakers with DTS audio processing for a premium audio output. The connectivity options include two USB 3.1 ports, a USB Type-C port, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
