Whenever we talk about Samsung's plans to upgrade smartphones to the newest version, we usually consider flagships and mid-range models. In a pleasant surprise for fans, Samsung has now pushed the Android 11 upgrade to the Galaxy F41, a budget mid-range smartphone released towards the end of 2020.

The Galaxy F41 Android 11 update is available in the form of One UI 3.0, the newest iteration of Samsung's custom Android skin. It has the build number F415FXXU1BUAC. It is an over-the-air (OTA) update that will become available automatically. It can also be checked manually by visiting Settings -> Software Update -> Download and install. To give you an overview, the Samsung Galaxy F41 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED Infinity-U display, the official name for a notched display. Under the hood, the phone is powered by the in-house Exynos 9611 processor and paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM. There is up to 128GB onboard storage with microSD support so that you can expand it further whenever required.

On the back, the phone houses triple rear cameras, where the main sensor is 64MP followed by an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 5MP sensor with live focus support. Interestingly, at a lower mid-range price, the phone also offers 4K video recording. On the front, the phone has a 32MP camera for taking selfies with live focus support.
