Samsung has now started rolling out Android 11-based One UI 3.0 stable update to the Galaxy A51 smartphone. The new firmware version is A515FXXU4DUB1 and apart from the One UI 3.0 features, the update also brings the February 2021 Android security patch. The update is first rolling out in Russia and will expand further in other regions soon.
If you live in Russia but haven’t received the notification for the over-the-air update then check for the availability of the update manually. Just head over to Settings and look for a Software update. If the update has arrived, it will show you right away on the screen after following the navigation. Tap on Download and install and the update will start getting downloaded to your device.
Some of the notable One UI 3.0 features include one-time permissions, a dedicated conversations section in the notifications area, chat bubbles, improved UI design, better color scheme and icons, improved stock apps, improved Dark Mode, better Digital Wellbeing, and so on.
Samsung Galaxy A51 entered the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta program the same month when Samsung announced the roadmap. As per the official roadmap shared by Samsung in December last year, the Galaxy A51 was meant to receive the Android 11 update in March 2021. It is pretty good that Samsung is ahead of its scheduled roadmap and updating all the supported devices.
A few days back, Samsung rolled out the Android 11 update to its Galaxy M21 update. As per the schedule, there are many other phones listed and eligible for the Android 11 update. Let’s see when other phones will receive it.
