Samsung has numerous smartphones spread across different lineups that cater to different users. Last year, it unveiled an all-new Galaxy F-series with the launch of Galaxy F41. The team is now ready to announce the second phone that will reportedly be called Galaxy F62. It will be a mid-range phone and thanks to a collaboration between tipster Ishan Agarwal and the online publication MySmartPrice, some of the important specifications have leaked.
The Galaxy F62 is reported to come with a 6.7-inch sAMOLED display of unknown resolution. Even the details related to the display panel design i.e. notch or punch-hole are missing. There will be at least one configuration model of 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The choice of processor will be Exynos that has a multi-core Geekbench score of 2401. It is said to outperform Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and is speculated to be Exynos 9825.
The phone will have quad rear cameras housed within a square-shaped module. There will be a 64-megapixel primary sensor but the leak does not mention details about the other three cameras. The front camera will be a 32-megapixel sensor that should be able to click some great selfies. It will ship with One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
The whole package is powered by a 7,000mAh battery that is undoubtedly huge. There are no details about fast charging but we are expecting there will be. The Galaxy F62 launch is expected to happen sometime during mid-February which we will not have to wait that long.
