08 February 2021 0

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its next-gen flagship series OnePlus 9. There have been rumors of three models expected to be called OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9 Lite. It is now time for a new video leak shared by YouTuber Dave2D offers a hands-on look at the OnePlus 9 Pro.

The first thing to note is that the OnePlus 9 Pro has a major redesign as compared to the OnePlus 8 series. The phone has a rectangular sort of camera module on the back panel. It features two big size camera sensors and two smaller sizes. There is also an LED flash along with Hasselblad branding. This appears to a collaboration between the two brands similar to what we have seen between Huawei and Leica. The camera setup is capable of offering up to 3.3X optical zoom.

The OnePlus 9 Pro curved display panel is said to offer Quad HD+ (3120 x 1440 pixels) resolution with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The particular unit shown in the video features 11GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. This is likely to be the top-end configuration variant with other variants featuring a lower amount of RAM and storage capacities.

The phone features a metallic build but physical buttons on the side appear to be smaller than before. These include a power button, volume rocker, and alert slider. The choice of processor will likely be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 for the Pro variant. The battery capacity is unknown but we should see the phone being compatible with the best fast charging technology that the company can offer.

The OnePlus 9 isn't still available. To be notified when it becomse available click here.
