Nokia 5.4, Nokia 3.4 mid-range smartphones launched in India

Nokia has launched two new mid-range smartphones Nokia 5.4 and Nokia 3.4 at an event in India. Both of these smartphones are priced within the affordable segment. The former is a phone that made its global debut about a couple of months ago. As for the latter, it is a completely new smartphone that should arrive in other markets too.

Nokia 5.4 Specifications

The Nokia 5.4 sports a 6.39-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with punch-hole and 400 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor that should deliver a good performance. There are two configuration variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. Both variants support microSD cards up to 512GB for those who would want more space.

The phone has quad rear cameras headlined by a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The other three cameras include a 5-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole.

The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. The phone runs Android 10 out of the box with an assurance of software upgrades for two years and security patches for three years. Other features include a USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G VoLTE connectivity. It will be available in Dusk and Polar Night color variants with the sale starting February 17th via Flipkart.

The Nokia 3.4 sports a 6.39-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display with punch-hole and 400 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone has 64GB of onboard storage which results in a single configuration option.

The phone has triple rear cameras including a 13-megapixel sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole.

The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 5W charging. The phone runs Android 10 out of the box but is confirmed to receive Android 11 in the future. Other features include a USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 4.2, and 4G VoLTE connectivity.

As for pricing, the Nokia 3.4 will cost you INR 11,999 for the only 4GB/64GB model. It will be available in Charcoal, Dusk, and Fjord color variants with the sale starting February 20th via Flipkart.
