It is not a mystery anymore that Realme is gearing up to launch the third-gen of its Narzo smartphones, well all thanks to Madhav Sheth, Vice President and CEO, Realme India and Europe who has spilled the beans ahead of the launch.

In an interview with XDA Developers, Madhav has shared quite a few interesting things about the upcoming Narzo 30 series and what specifications to look at. He confirms that one of the devices will get the MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G-powered chipset at a “never-seen-before price.” This is the additional remark that suggests the Narzo 30 device could be priced at Rs. 19,999 (~$275), lower than the Realme X7 price.

He also revealed that the upcoming Narzo phones do not have any specific feature on the UI front. However, the series is going to be gaming-centric. The claim goes in line with the recent revelation by a tipster from India who said that Realme could launch some gaming accessories alongside the Narzo 30 series.

Other key differentiators, according to Madhav, are large batteries, and super-fast technology at a more reasonable price.

While revealing this important detail about the upcoming Narzo 30 phone, Madhav said that the key focus is going to be 5G this year for Realme. Madhav further states that the Narzo series will be the “democratize for 5G.” He further revealed that the company has plans to introduce “5G technology to the budget segment as well and then expand to other devices.”

The top executive also revealed that Realme has embraced a new branding and logo for the Narzo series “to better cater to the young players.”

He emphasizes, “narzo is a part of realme and is not a sub-brand. It will continue to be a part of realme.

Madhav didn’t reveal anything else on the upcoming Narzo series. But we do have details from the past to conclude the story. Last week, a Realme smartphone with model number RMX3161 was spotted on TENAA and it is suspected to be the Narzo 30 Pro because its predecessor had the RMX2161 model number.

The schematics in the TENAA show how the device could end up looking like. There is a large rectangular camera module on the top left corner of the back panel that houses three cameras and an LED flash. The listing confirms the device has a 6.5-inch punch-hole display and a 4,800mAh battery. Furthermore, the Fonearena blog speculated the device could launch with an FHD+ panel and 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. The tech blog also suggested that the device may feature 65W fast-charging support.

It is currently unknown when the new Narzo 30 series will launch. Recently, Flipkart, Indian e-commerce shared a video teaser with the caption “realme narzo 30,” indicating the launch just around the corner and the series will be exclusive to it. The video clip that is merely 7-minutes long also gives a glance at the Narzo 30 and Narzo 30 Pro. But it is impossible to bring out the details from this glimpse. The launch is, however, tipped to take place by the end of February.

Today, Madhav Sheth also took to Twitter to announce a new #MadhavsTechSquad program that will allow the fans to review its upcoming phones before they launch to the masses. The image posted in the tweet also shows the retail boxes of Narzo 30 Pro 5G phones.
