Poco M2 Pro units in India have started receiving the February 2021 security patch via MIUI 12.0.3.0.QJPINXM update. A known tipster from India informed everyone about the update first. As per the tipster, the update weighs 587MB and carries the latest security patch.
As per the screenshot shared by the tipster, the update only carries the February security patch. But knowing the weight of the update, it appears there are more fixes hidden inside.
Unfortunately, the update is still based on Android 10 and it is unknown if the update will receive Android 11.
This is an OTA update, which means it will knock at your door as a notification and you will be able to install it right away. However, if you do not get the notification, check for it manually by going under the Settings and look for System Update. Let us know using the comments section below if you have received the update already.
The Poco M2 Pro carries a 6.67-inch LCD FHD+ display, Snapdragon 720G processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage. The design is splash-proof and the display is protected with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. It features a 64MP quad-camera setup and has a 5,020mAh battery capacity with 33W fast-charging support. It went official in India back in July 2020.
