OnePlus 9E leak reveals Snapdragon 690 SoC, 90Hz display

23 February 2021 0

OnePlus apparently has an event to hold next month where it may unveil the new OnePlus 9 series. Well, up until now we have heard a lot about the series. But not much is known about the OnePlus 9E or OnePlus 9 Lite that might be making its space between the standard OnePlus 9 and the high-caliber OnePlus 9 Pro.

Now, a new leak has surfaced that reveals a lot about the OnePlus 9E. As per the details given by a Greek tech blog Techmaniacs, the OnePlus 9E appears to feature a modest set of specifications. It features a 6.5-inch display with 2400x1080 pixels resolution. Possibly, the phone display is going to feature a 90Hz refresh rate.

It might feature dual cameras on the back where the primary sensor is 64MP followed by an 8MP ultrawide snapper. It is going to be powered by Snapdragon 690 processor that integrates the X51 modem for 5G support. The SoC was launched back in June 2020 and has been seen in some mid-range phones. OnePlus already has a phone that uses this processor – Nord N10. So, as per the leak, the OnePlus 9E has this SoC as well. Together with this, the OnePlus 9E is expected to include 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Also, the phone is also going to feature a 5,000mAh battery.

Let’s see when OnePlus is going to launch the OnePlus 9 series in March.
