It has not even been six months since the launch of the Realme 7 series but the company is already preparing for the next-gen offering. Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme Mobiles, has tweeted teasers suggesting that the Realme 8 series is near its launch. There are two different tweets at the moment teasing what is next.
The first tweet mentions that "Work never stops at Realme" and the marketing hashtag "InfiniteLeapWith8". It is accompanied by an image that shows a sign representing both "Infinity" and the number "8". This is what has led to speculations that the brand is gearing up for the Realme 8 series launch.

The second tweet is about teasing a Realme 8 feature. Sheth has asked his followers whether they know what 108 stands for and has posted a teaser image. It is quite clear that the Realme 8 lineup will debut with a 108-megapixel camera sensor. It will be a quad-camera setup as can be noticed in the teaser image.
A great breakthrough ahead!

Do you guys know what 108 stands for?
Stay tuned, unveiling tomorrow.#InfiniteLeapWith8 #DareToLeap pic.twitter.com/fD8B3WFHOd
Realme has chosen to be silent about the launch date but as Redmi is set to unveil Redmi Note 10 series on March 4th, it would not be surprising if the Realme 8 series launch happens around that date. If we go by rumors, the Realme 8 is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 720 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM. It will have a high refresh rate display and will ship with Android 11 as the operating system.
