Vivo has launched the Y31s Standard Edition, a new phone that is pretty much identical to the Vivo Y31s 5G phone. The all-new Vivo Y31s Standard Edition has a similar set of specifications, though with a few key differences.
Well, first off, the name of the phone is pretty big. It is unknown what Vivo wants to convey by the name. Anyway, let’s just move ahead by keeping behind what’s actually in the naming convention. The one launched back in January this year has Snapdragon 662 processor and the one the company has introduced now gets MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor.
The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with a teardrop notch. Its display features a 20:9 aspect ratio that produces an HD+ resolution of 720x1600 pixels. The phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 89 percent. Compared to this, the Vivo Y31s 5G was launched with a slightly larger display. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
The Vivo Y31s Standard Edition carries dual cameras on the back. Both the sensors are housed inside a squarish module but arranged in a triangular shape where the third corner is filled by an LED flash. The Vivo Y31s 5G launched with three rear sensors on the back instead. And, while the arrangement is pretty similar, the housing is pretty much sleek like a strip.
Here are the full specifications of the Vivo Y31s Standard Edition –
The price of the Vivo Y31s Standard Edition is 1,699 yuan ($262) and it comes in three color options – Titanium Gray, Lake Light Blue, and Haoyeubai (White). It is currently available for purchase in China through the company’s official store.
