ARCore supported devices are those that attest to certain criteria that Google has set for them. Google certifies such devices that it deems are capable of offering a good experience with AR applications. It passes them on the basis of several factors like the quality of the camera, motion sensors, and the design architecture. Also, the device needs to have a powerful enough CPU that integrates with the hardware design to ensure good performance.
With the help of its ARCore supported devices page, Google lets the users know what devices have passed the certification or if their device is capable of handling the AR applications.
