Not so long ago, Motorola shared a list of phones that will receive the Android 11 update. Well, the phones were enlisted in no particular order. So, we do not know what phone will receive the Android 11 update first. The Moto G Pro got it first and now, it appears the spinning wheel has pointed its needle to the Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power phones as the update has now arrived for them. According to GSMArena, the Android 11 update is rolling out for Moto G8 and G8 Power owners in Columbia.
The Android 11 update adds the latest features and improvements to the Moto G8 and G8 Power phones. It brings Chat Bubbles, one-time permission for the microphone and location, Smart Device controls a built-in screen recorder, and more.
The update carries software version RPE31.Q4U-47-35 and also packs February 2021 security patches.
The two phones Moto G8 and G8 Power phones were made official last year. Moto G8 Power debuted in February, while the Moto G8 came in March. They are mid-range phones launched with Snapdragon 665 processor. Both the phones feature a triple camera setup, where the primary shooter is 16MP, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage.
It is expected that the Android 11 will roll out to the phones Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power outside Columbia as well.
