Vivo has launched the newest iQOO branded smartphone named iQOO Neo5. It is the same phone that was getting teased by the company for the last few weeks. It is a phone that belongs to the higher-end segment and does not compromise on performance, even if you are looking for a beast that can handle intensive games.

The iQOO Neo5 sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a centered punch-hole. The panel offers up to 120Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor which is a flagship-level processor. There are multiple configuration variants featuring up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. Both models feature UFS 3.1 storage which should deliver high-speed data read and write speeds.

The quad-camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture along with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The other two cameras are 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro shot purposes. As for the front camera, it is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole for taking selfies and attending video calls.

The smartphone has a 4,400mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is supported by 66W fast charging and the good thing is iQOO is bundling a compatible fast charger with the box. In terms of software, it will be running OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner available on the smartphone.

iQOO Neo5 pricing:

  • 8GB/128GB for CNY 2,499
  • 8GB/256GB for CNY 2,699
  • 12GB/256GB for CNY 2,999

Vivo will start selling the iQOO Neo5 from March 22nd in China. It will be available in Black, Orange, and Sky Blue color variants.
