Oppo's A-series of budget smartphones has proved to be a hit in every market that it has been introduced in. It has now launched the Oppo A54 as the newest offering of the series in Indonesia. The phone has a familiar set of highlights like a punch-hole display, multiple cameras, and a big battery to last a full day.
The Oppo A94 sports a 6.51-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD display with a punch-hole in the top left corner. It offers a pixel density of 269ppi and an 89.2% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, it features a MediaTek Helio P35 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is 128GB of storage space, the only configuration option, with support for microSD cards up to 256GB.
There is a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera on the phone is a 16-megapixel sensor housed within the punch-hole.
The whole package is powered by a 5,000 battery with support for 18W fast charging. For some odd reason, it will be running ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 out of the box. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Oppo A54 has been priced at IDR 2,699,000 i.e. about $185 for the sole 4GB/128GB model. It will be sold in two color options: Crystal Black and Starry Blue.
