Xiaomi Mi 11i with 120Hz display, Snapdragon 888 launches globally

In the past couple of days, Xiaomi has announced a plethora of products. These include new Mi 11 series smartphones, Mi Band 6, and the first foldable Mi MIX Fold. We have one more smartphone to talk about which is called Mi 11i. This phone has been announced specifically for the global markets.

The Xiaomi Mi 11i sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) Samsung E4 AMOLED display. It is a punch-hole display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300 nits of peak brightness. The phone is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and Adreno 660 GPU. There is 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM available with 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage options.

The triple rear camera setup includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 5-megapixel telemacro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera on the phone is a 20-megapixel sensor and is housed within the punch-hole.

There is a 4,250mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is supported by 33W fast charging and thankfully, a 33W fast charger comes bundled with the smartphone. It will run MIUI 12 out of the box but Xiaomi has assured an upgrade to MIUI 12.5 in the near future. Other features include Dolby Atmos supported dual speakers, dual-SIM dual-5G standby, WiFi 6, USB Type-C port, NFC support, and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It will be available in Celestial Silver, Frosty White, and Cosmic Black color options.

Xiaomi has priced the Mi 11i at EUR 649 for the base 8GB/128GB model and at EUR 699 for the 8GB/256GB model. It will go on pre-orders through all official Xiaomi channels "soon".
