Realme has debuted a new mid-range smartphone named Realme V13 5G in China. As the name suggests, it is a 5G-capable mid-range smartphone that we have started to see more often. The device offers a high refresh rate display, triple rear cameras, and a big battery as its highlight features. It was announced alongside the Realme GT Neo at the same event.
The Realme V13 5G sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has a punch-hole in the top left corner and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The choice of processor is MediaTek's Dimensity 700 coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. There are two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. The good thing is that it also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the back panel, you will find a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel monochrome shooter. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and attending video calls. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It will run Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
Realme has priced the Realme V13 5G at CNY 1,599 (about $243) for the 8GB/128GB model and at CNY 1,799 (about $274) for the 8GB/256GB model. It has started taking pre-orders for the phone with sales set to begin April 2nd. The available color options include Ash and Azure.
