It was late last year when Motorola revealed a list of eligible devices that will get Android 11 updates. It has already pushed the upgrade to a few models and now, it is time for another model to get the taste of the new software. The Motorola One Hyper smartphone from 2019 is receiving the software update.
The reports suggest that Motorola One Hyper users in Brazil are the first ones to receive the upgrade. The build number for the update is RPF31.Q1-21-20 and is an over-the-air (OTA) release. While the biggest change in the update is the new Android 11 operating system, it also includes March 2021 security patch.
All users of the smartphone should receive the update notification anytime soon. If you are not seeing it already, you can check for it manually by visiting the system settings and software update section. This should show you the new update alert but if it does not appear for some reason, keep trying as the rollout usually happens in phases.
