Samsung's relatively new Galaxy F-series has just received two new members Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s in India. These phones are aimed at mid-range and entry-level buyers respectively. Even though these are new announcements, they seem to be rebranded versions of the Galaxy M12 and Galaxy M02s models with a few small differences
The Galaxy F12 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the octa-core Exynos 850 processor with ARM Mali-G52 GPU. The phone is available in two configuration options: 4GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB onboard storage. Both the variants offer microSD card support for storage expansion.
The phone has a quad-camera setup on the back panel with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front camera on the phone is an 8-megapixel sensor housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy F12 st INR 10,999 and INR 11,999 for the 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB variant respectively. It will be sold via both offline and online stores.
The Galaxy F02s sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) TFT display with a waterdrop-styled notch. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It is available in two configuration options: 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage. It will also support microSD cards for storage expansion.
The triple camera setup on the phone includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The phone has a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture housed within the notch. The whole package is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
Samsung says it will cost you INR 8,999 for the 3GB/32GB model and INR 9,999 for the 4GB/64GB model. It will also be sold online as well as offline stores.
