Samsung is widely rumored to be working on two new foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. These will be part of the new generation with a number of noteworthy changes and new features. Just a few hours ago, these new foldable devices have surfaced in a new leak detailing design renders and some of those features.
Starting with the Galaxy Z Flip 3, a well-known tipster Alvin (@sondesix) has tweeted an image showing the device in different color options. It is shown in Black, White, Green, and Purple color variants. The phone actually has a dual-tone color finish like we have seen with Pixel phones in the past. The image itself appears to be a screengrab of a lengthy promotional video.
There is one more leaked image that gives a closer look at the Galaxy Z Flip 3's external display. It shows that the display now shows a lot more information like showing complete text previews. This is certainly a lot more useful than just showing the notification counter and only things like time and date. This will reduce the number of times one has to unlock the phone throughout the day for checking notification details.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is now rumored once again to be the first foldable with an under-display selfie camera. This is a fairly new tech and only a handful of smartphones have implemented it. We will have to see how good is Samsung's implementation as compared to the competition.
One of the leaked images also confirms that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have S Pen stylus support. It shows an interesting feature where users will be able to take notes using the S Pen at the same time they are attending a video call. The team has also worked on improving the durability of the smartphone which has always been one of the major concerns in the mind of buyers.
