Vivo has officially launched the Vivo Y52s (T1 version) smartphone in China. It is a slightly tweaked version of the Vivo Y52s that also debuted in China late last year. Both smartphones are largely the same except for the major difference in processor.
The Vivo Y52s (T1 version) features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ (2408 x 1080 pixels) LCD display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. It is available in a single configuration and includes 8GB of RAM with 256GB onboard storage.
The dual-camera setup on the phone includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the phone carries an 8-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture. It will run Funtouch OS 1.0 based on Android 11 out of the box. It includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W Dual Engine fast charging. Connectivity options include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C.
Vivo has priced the Vivo Y52s (T1 version) at CNY 2,099 (about $324) for the sole 8GB/256GB configuration. It will be available for purchase in Monet, Titanium Grey, and Coral Sea color options. The phone is getting sold in China through both online and offline channels.
