Vivo Y12s 2021 with Snapdragon 439 SoC, dual rear cameras launched

Vivo has launched a new affordable Android smartphone called the Y12s 2021. It is launched in the Vietnamese market as a successor to the Y12s phone that was first launched in India back in January.

Vivo Y12s features a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with 720x1600 pixels resolution. It gets a 20:9 aspect ratio with a teardrop-style notch on the display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor clocked at 1.95GHz. The phone gets 3GB RAM with 32GB onboard storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card.

On the back, the phone gets dual cameras, both aligned in a vertical strip-like arrangement along with the LED flash. The configuration of the camera system includes a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8MP camera housed inside the teardrop-style notch. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery capacity with 10W charging support.

The price of the Vivo Y12s 2021 is VND 3,290,000 ($142) and available through online retailer FPTShop. It comes in Mysterious Black and Ice Blue color options.
