New Android 12 leak details visual changes ahead of Google I/O 2021

17 May 2021 0

Google I/O 2021 is barely away from commencing and just ahead of it, well-known tipster Jon Prosser has shared some important Android 12 details. Prosser is the same tipster who extensively leaked the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro design details last week. His latest video gives us a good look at the next major Android version and even shows a glimpse of the alleged official promotional clip.

The video starts off by showing a presentation slide that sums up how Google summarises everything that Android 12 will bring to smartphones and tablets. There are basically three major points: "A beautiful new experience, Stronger privacy and security protections, and All of your devices work better together".

Prosser then goes on to show a compilation of different new Android 12 widgets and UI elements. One can see a new music widget, new clock widget, new Weather widget, new Bluetooth/WiFi toggles, new Battery saver toggle, new UI for alarm, new brightness toggle, and better notification stacking. All of these together does give a good idea of the kind of interface and design language Google is looking to offer.

You can check out the whole video below but as we say with all other leaks, take these details with a pinch of salt. Google's annual developer conference is set to begin tomorrow. We should be hearing about Android 12 at the event, giving us an official look at what is new for the Android world.
