A new rumor mill circulating around claims that OnePlus has a new phone to launch in its Nord series. Past rumors have suggested it to be the Nord N1 5G phone, but now a new tip claims the name of the phone is rather Nord CE 5G.
The tipster Max Jambor who has a pretty good track record of revealing tidbits around the upcoming launches has put up a new tweet in which he claims the name of the phone is rather Nord CE 5G. The caption of his tweet shows the “Nord N1 5G” text stricken followed by an image that reflects the actual name is Nord CE 5G. Up until now, we have been knowing it by the name Nord N1 5G and learning new things about it.

Back in March, the phone believed to be the OnePlus Nord N1 5G was even spotted at BIS listing, hinting at an imminent launch. Rumors have so far suggested that the Nord N1 5G Nord CE 5G may feature a hole-punch cutout located at the top left corner of the display. Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) had also shared renders that showed a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, triple rear camera setup as well. The renders also showed USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nord CE 5G which is said to be the successor to the Nord N10 may feature a 6.49-inch flat display and glossy plastic rear panel.
Well, the name sounds quite atypical and currently, we do not know what does the “CE” in the name stands for. The phone is believed to launch later this year.
