The rumor mill has started to buzz with leaks and reports surrounding the next-gen Google Pixel 6 lineup. Jon Prosser gave us our first detailed look at the upcoming smartphones last week and today, we have a new leak to talk about. The leak from @OnLeaks in collaboration with Digit India not only corroborates those claims but also reveals a few specification details.
This new leak specifically focuses on the bigger flagship Pixel 6 Pro. The alleged renders show the smartphone sporting exactly the same design as the one showed by Prosser. Even the dual-tone color finish chosen for the renders is the same. The front panel can be seen with a centered punch-hole and the back panel with a horizontal camera strip.
The Pixel 6 Pro is tipped to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED curved display with a punch-hole. The report does not mention the display resolution and is unsure of whether there will be a high refresh rate. There are minimal side bezels that give it a full-display appearance. The display panel also has an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication purposes.
The flagship will have a triple rear camera setup which will be a first for the Pixel series. Google has only used up to dual rear cameras for its smartphones. These are said to include a wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera, and an unknown third camera sensor alongside the LED flash. There will also be a noticeable camera bump with an approximate 11.5mm thickness.
Google is said to continue with dual stereo speakers and wireless charging. There will be one speaker at the top and one at the bottom. There are also speculations that the team has switched the SIM tray position to the left side. The flagship is said to have 163.9 x 75.8 x 8.9mm dimensions.
